Jim Bauer
A multi-talented artist, Montmartre-born Jim Bauer is a musical prodigy. He mastered the guitar at age 12, while performing in several projects. In 2014, destiny came knocking: Jim was spotted by Nouvelle Vague’s Marc Collin, leading to a singer/guitarist role in his group, Bristol. For two years, Bristol hit the European club circuit, released an album and anthem, the single ‘Roads’.
In 2015, and now a solo artist, Jim has brought his delicate melodies and passionate songwriting into his own spotlight, producing a string of videos for his compositions – check out ‘Something Else Than Words’ on YouTube. The success of these stirring songs led to a 60-date tour across France that honed Jim’s magical storytelling performances on stage.
An intimate musical force to be reckoned with, Jim melts many alternative genres together, from 90’s Rock, Hip-Hop or Neo soul, armed with only his acoustic guitar and soaring, cinematic vocals as accompaniment. For this young and talented musician, every song is a movie, where each mise en scène is full of emotion, intrigue and purpose, and Jim is the lead actor, his performance focused on whisking you away to some place you’ll never want to leave.
