Lys & Steve Hewitt
First french rock band spotted in London by Steve Hewitt (drummer & songwriter in the mutli million selling PLACEBO), in 2011 the band has won a first album recording thanks to the label Warner Music France (BB Brunes, Archive…), produced by Steve Hewitt himself and mixed by Paul Corkett (The Cure, Placebo, Bjork, Fiction Plane, Nick Cave, Radiohead & many others …)out in 2013.
Spotted by « Tracks Arte TV » at SXSW, NME (UK), Inrockuptibles (FR), Austin Chronicle (US) or Moshcam (Australia), the band is going to release in a second album « Redbud » co-written with Craig Walker (mythical singer of Archive), with Steve Hewitt (drummer in the multi million selling Placebo) on drums, mixed by Paul Corkett (The Cure, Björk, Suede…), mastered by Chab (Grammy Awards with Daft Punk…). Out Nov. 6. LYS is currently on tour in Europe & is one of the muse of the famous hype clothing brand « IKKS ».
