Or-Sha
Living life out loud, and shooting straight from the hip of the on-trend Parisian jazz and pop scene, Or-Sha are purpose built to show us all how to have a good time. A thrilling fusion of influences – think Erykah Badu, Hiatus Kaiyote and Thundercat – and inspired by the maths of the Ancient Pharaohs, NSA cryptograms and Swedish digital pirates, Or-Sha are the perfect band to blend innovation and tradition among the young and old vines of Clos Marey-Monge. With intense and complex musical rhythms from Vincent Tortiller on drums, and Kevin Haccoun on bass forming a thundering rhythm foundation, it’s down to Lucile Chriqui’s melodically sweet and deep harmonies to sync with Hippolyte Housset’s keys and Arthur Links’ smooth guitar lines. It’s a beautiful noise. Or-Sha is tipped for great things in 2017 with the release of its first EP.
